"Charmaeve? Bay-key?"

Xavier knows that when we go to the "bay-key" that we usually go with Maeve and Charlie...but he's taken to shortening their names together as "Charmaeve" when he is referring to both of them!  It's always a nice trip, and we pick up some fresh bread for at home, a latte or juice for ourselves, juice boxes for the kids, and scones all around.  And oh, do they have some very delicious scones...

Much like Black Bear, the bakery has a very comfortable feel to it regarding our children.  We go in, get our sweets and such, and then we all sit together on the porch enjoying the morning.  Eventually, the kids get a little bored, and are able to run around a bit (safely) and burn some energy off while we get to talk a bit.  It's always a pleasure.

Upon entering the bakery, it is nothing but a chorus for "JUICE!"

Standing in the doorway together.

Big hug!

Maeve is very sweet, and always offers to hold Xavier's hand.

Kiss!

Trekking off into the woods!

They made a game of helping each other up and down off the ledge...

...while poor Charlie had to fend for himself.
