Family Vacation 2012: Virginia Beach

For now, due to sheer exhaustion (and maybe a little desire to continue my current read) I'm going to post this photo essay style.

At the Aquarium.  Komodo Dragon exhibit.  They had a tunnel you could crawl under and pop up to see them up close!

View from the bubble!

Checkin' out a sea turtle.

Dad packin' baby J in the Ergo. :)

Sunrise

Daddy and Xave flying the Shark Kite...

Watching the air show that happened to be going on!

It took Joseph a little bit to figure out how to navigate in and out of the door frame.  He's a pro now!

Since our condo was on the far end of the Boardwalk, and our room was on the far room at that, Tom and I were able to capture some phenomenal shots of the airshow.  They literally flew right by our balcony!

We found a fresh seafood market, and cooked in one night.  Fresh caught squid and (my husband's favorite) red snapper!

To my surprise, the tentacles were the best part.

Finished up with some prosciutto we found at a local Italian market, and since cubes of brie and havarti cheese.

Rare photo of the four of us together. :)

My dad and Tom took Xavier fishing off the pier. :)

Lovely fat little man.
One of Xavier's favorite parts of the entire vacation was getting to go to the "fair" set up off of the boardwalk.  We ended up going twice.

On the monkey's (a toddler tilt-a-whirl).

BJ was always very concerned about who was going where, and what exactly they were doing.

Xavier driving the helicopter (the stick allowed him to make it go up and down).

Tom and Xavier at the top!

Before we had to leave, I wanted to take a few photos of the boys down on the beach.
